Following this, we each opted for the chef’s choice, which was another iteration of that incredible fry bread, this time elegantly wrapped around creamy brie cheese and drizzled with even more huckleberry sauce. I honestly could have made an entire meal out of just the fry bread and cheese; it was that good! However, the rest of the menu proved too enticing to stop there.
John indulged in a bone-in prime rib, which he declared was among the finest steaks he had ever tasted anywhere in the world – a high compliment indeed from a seasoned traveler. My choice of creamy mac and cheese paired with a rich parmesan risotto was equally divine, leaving me wishing I could get my hands on those coveted recipes.

We were so captivated by this restaurant that we found ourselves returning three times within our three-day stay! Another absolute must-try is their phenomenal pretzel, served warm with a rich, creamy beer cheese dip – it’s an irresistible combination that perfectly captures the essence of elevated pub fare.

This grand bed, adorned with a multitude of soft pillows, created a feeling akin to the “princess and the pea,” where every inch exuded comfort.
Sinking into the pillow-top mattress was an experience of pure bliss, making it incredibly difficult to ever want to leave its cozy confines. My skilled masseuse worked diligently to release knots I hadn’t even realized had accumulated, some of which felt like they had been stubbornly present for far too long. With each expert stroke, I could feel my body slowly but surely turning to a state of complete “mush” on the heated massage table. The warmth from the fireplace behind me, combined with the comfortable, heated bed, made leaving the room a genuine challenge. If it had been an option, I would have gladly paid for an extra hour to simply drift into a post-treatment nap.

During our visit, I made sure to stock up on my beloved Vanilla Coconut Dandles Candles, their comforting scent a perfect reminder of our relaxing getaway.
Windfall is a particularly captivating boutique, filled with a curated selection of gorgeous high-end outdoor recreation gear and stylish home goods. From iconic Pendleton Blankets to specialized fly fishing equipment, the store offers a surprising collection of treasures you never knew you needed until you saw them. Meanwhile, the spa store holds its own allure, showcasing the most incredibly soft UGG robes and slippers that I still dream about. I deeply appreciate that Northern Quest Spa thoughtfully provides robes up to a size 4X, ensuring that every guest can relax comfortably without any concerns about coverage. The robes themselves are so luxuriously soft and cozy that I genuinely didn’t want to take mine off; I even briefly considered making the walk to my car still wrapped in its plush embrace!
Dinner & A Movie: A Unique Entertainment Experience
To round off our perfect stay, we enjoyed an amazing dinner and a movie experience at the theater conveniently located directly across the street from the resort. This was an experience I had always wanted to try, and it exceeded all expectations! You have the flexibility to order delicious food and enjoy a cocktail in the lobby area before your movie begins, or, for the ultimate convenience, you can order specially selected menu items to be enjoyed right in your seat during the film.
That’s right – you can savor a full dinner while watching the latest blockbuster! The seamless payment system allows you to place a credit or debit card on file beforehand, with all your orders charged directly to it during the movie. This means no more waiting in long lines at the end of the film just to pay your bill. We are already eagerly checking our calendars to take advantage of as many of their fantastic $6 Tuesday night movies as possible. It’s a truly innovative and enjoyable way to spend an evening.
