Our Grand River view room on the 20th floor offered a spectacular panorama stretching across West Grand Rapids. The room was thoughtfully designed, featuring a supremely comfortable king-sized bed that promised restful nights. Adjacent to the bed, a functional writing desk seamlessly integrated with a dresser and TV stand, providing ample space for both relaxation and productivity. A discreet small safe was cleverly hidden within one of the dresser drawers, perfect for securing valuables. Another ingenious touch was a mini-refrigerator, tucked behind what appeared to be ordinary drawers, ideal for keeping local Grand Rapids craft beers or refreshments perfectly chilled. The room also featured a well-appointed closet, where we discovered a convenient coffee maker, ensuring fresh coffee was always within reach. A comfortable side chair paired with a small side table created a cozy nook, perfect for unwinding while observing the city stir to life through the expansive window.

The bathroom, a sanctuary in itself, was stocked with luxurious G&H Nourish toiletries, an exclusive offering from Amway. Upon arrival, we found shampoo, conditioner, lotion, and body wash, all of which provided a refreshing and indulgent experience. I must confess, the shampoo and conditioner were so exceptional that I would eagerly order them for personal use – my hair absolutely adored them! The overall design of the bathroom was sleek and modern, providing ample space and excellent lighting.

Perhaps one of the most remarkable aspects of our stay was the unparalleled comfort of the bed. After a full day of travel, we literally sank into blissful slumber, sleeping for an incredible 12 hours on our first night. The combination of exhaustion from our journey and the supreme comfort of the king-sized bed led to an astonishingly restorative night’s sleep. We both woke feeling completely refreshed, invigorated, and eager to explore the myriad attractions of Grand Rapids. Despite being centrally located with views of the bustling city and even a nearby freeway, our room remained remarkably quiet throughout our stay, offering a peaceful retreat from the urban buzz. Only occasionally would a faint city hum reach us, ensuring an undisturbed and tranquil environment.

The dedicated desk area proved to be an excellent spot for catching up on work and writing.
